Our annual community barbecue was held in the Kilteevogue church grounds on the 25th June with food and fun present. Local charities Jigsaw Grow and Mary’s meals had an opportunity for members of the community to learn support and encourage them in their works. It raised approximately 1250 euro through voluntary donations. Thankfully it stayed dry and many thanks to all who worked hard to ensure the success of the day through baking , cooking, organising the event and games and in all the many hidden ways without which the day would have been poorer.
