Sunday 7th May 2023– I am the way, the truth and the life
Read: John 14-1-14.
Jesus describes himself as the way, the truth and the life. When Jesus was with his disciples he often explained to them what would happen after he had gone back to heaven. At the time the disciples may not have understood the significance of what Jesus had said but I am sure after the events of Easter they often thought about all the things Jesus had said – including this! Jesus is explaining to the disciples about the Kingdom of God – a place with room for all of us to be with God – but only if we put our faith and trust in him and live our lives for him – Jesus is the way, the truth and the life – we should follow his examples and teachings.

Father in heaven watch over our loved ones.
Keep them by your side.
May they be safe and peaceful, in you may they abide.
Give wisdom to the doctors and nurses too we pray,
renew their strength and bless them for the work they do each day. Send healing and restoration and let them feel your love.
